Illustrating Reading By Candlelight!

It was serendipitous when Mike Mailloux and I volunteered together at our local artists coop gallery. We discussed Mike’s story, Reading By Candlelight, about a giraffe that sets out on a journey to find his purpose in life. When he found out I do digital artwork, and I quickly doodled a cartoon giraffe, Mike invited me to illustrate the work for him. I am having a lot of fun working on these loose and expressive depictions of Jaivyn the giraffe as he travels away from the familiar out into the world.
